Musical Theater Workshop - Sponsored by the Elk Grove United Methodist Church.
Workshops in: make up, Costuming, Singing, Dancing, and Acting.
Cost is $55.00 for one child $45.00 for the second (Scholarships are available - please contact Mary Popish, Pastor David, or Linda Harrell). If transportation is a problem let us know!
For Ages: Kindergarten through 6th grade.
No singing, dancing, or acting experience required. Just a desire to learn more about how a musical is put together and to gain some experience in ALL aspects of the theater.

Performances are on Sunday, July 19th
Performances are 10 am at Elk Grove UMC and early afternoon at Point Pleasant UMC.
Practice Dates & Times:
Week 1: Mon - Thurs, June 29th – July 3rd, 9 am - Noon
Week 2: Mon - Fri, July 13th - July 17th, 2:30 pm - 5:30 pm
Sat, July 18th, 10 am - Noon
We will meet downstairs at Elk Grove UMC in Bartholomew Hall.
If you need transportation for your kids let us know as we have adults who are able to help pick up kids.
A Note on Food Allergies:
All Kids Ministry Programs are a nut free zone. We will not be offering any snack that may contain nuts and we ask that you do not send your child with a snack that may contain nuts. We do have a garden outside in the play area that children may access during play time, if you think your child could be allergic to the food in the garden & citrus grove, please let the volunteers know at drop off.
Emergency Medical & Photography Consent Form
My child has my permission to attend the Musical Theater Workshop at the Elk Grove United Methodist Church.
Elk Grove United Methodist Staff & Volunteers have my permission to obtain emergency medical treatment for my child/children when I cannot be reached or if a delay in reaching me would be dangerous for my child/children. I understand that I assume all financial responsibility for any treatment or injuries sustained by my child/children while they participate in this program.
Emergency Contact & Pickup Person
The following person can be contacted in case of an emergency and is authorized to be an alternative pick up person.
My student and I understand the importance of attending ALL rehearsals due to the short time available to learn this musical. We will do all we can to make sure my student is there everyday on a timely basis unless we have cleared it with the director prior to any known absences. I also understand the importance of the performances on July 19th and will attend and perform in both worship services at Elk Grove.
